The restaurant serves British and Scottish cuisine using fresh seasonal produce from local suppliers. The inn is situated near Kildrummy Castle (1 km) and offers fishing access to the River Don. Originally a coaching inn, the property has also functioned as a farm residence, post office, and garage throughout its history. The attached Volunteer Hall can host weddings or conferences for up to 120 people.

The four king-sized bedrooms are individually named after salmon fishing pools in the River Don: Dukestone, Willows, Kinclune, and Clochter. Each room features countryside views, en-suite bathrooms with period fittings, and king-size beds. Bathrooms include claw foot baths or Victorian-styled showers. Rooms offer an extensive selection of teas and coffee.
